What Formats We Transfer

We transfer to DVD or VHS any of the following formats:

  • VHS - (these are the full size tapes that fit in most VCR’s)
  • VHS-C - (these are for compact camcorders like Panasonic)
  • Super VHS - ('prosumer' level video tape)
  • Beta or Betamax - (an older format; it pretty much ‘died out’ in the mid-’80s)
  • 1 Inch - (an older professional format)
  • 3/4 Inch or 3/4 Inch SP - (an older professional format)
  • 8mm - (these are for compact camcorders like Sony and Canon)
  • Hi-8mm - (these are for compact camcorders like Sony and Canon)
  • Digital 8 - (a relatively new format for compact camcorders)
  • miniDV - (a popular new digital video tape format)
  • DVCAM - (professional level digital video tape)
  • DVCPRO - (professional level digital video tape)
  • DigiBeta - (professional level digital video tape)
  • Betacam SP - (professional level video tape)
  • DVD - (generally these are DVD-R, but there are other variations)
  • CD-ROM - (for mpeg, AVI, wmv and other digital files)

Don't wait - let us transfer your video to DVD today! Videotapes lose part of their picture and sound signal each time you play them. Even if you don't play them that often, the signal is steadily deteriorating and lasts only 10-15 years. Too often we have seen someone bring in a precious videotape that no longer has sound or has snow running through the middle of the screen and there is no way to recover the picture or audio once it is gone!
